One of Sigma Tau Delta Societies’ major goals is to offer academic scholarships to student members each year. We need to be able to easily manage administration and backend tracking of what money goes out. AwardSpring allows us to do this. The folks in charge of the scholarships program prior to AwardSpring were scared of technology, but AwardSpring has proven to be easy enough even for those who are not tech—savvy. Data and information can be shared easier, without the spreadsheets.

AwardSpring provides a good and easy interface as well as automatic matching for scholarships. This means students are applied to every scholarship they qualify for—and we are getting more applications for our historically less popular scholarships. We use AwardSpring for not only our scholarships but also for our grants and internship stipend awards. It’s wonderful to have one consolidated system to manage them all.

All of our judges and committee chairs are volunteers and are spread far and wide, including overseas. Taking our scholarship application online has allowed us to have applications available and accessible to all our reviewers at any time. And the reviewers are happy with how easy the platform is to  use for reviewing and scoring applications.

The SpringSquad team is both competent and willing to dig into problems to try to find a solution. They are helpful in determining workarounds for unique and special cases. Our subscription includes unlimited custom-built reports which have been very helpful for tracking recommendation letters.

AwardSpring has proven to be a fantastic SaaS solution to help us manage our program. It’s not scary to implement and manage and I have a helpful support team available when I do need assistance.
